1. Who we are

We are DeNoize (trading under “DeNoize”). Our registered details:
Address: Molengraaffsingel 12, 2629 JD Delft, Netherlands.
Contact email: hello@denoize.com
When we refer to “we”, “us” or “our” in this document, we mean DeNoize.

2. What this privacy policy covers

This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data when you:

  • visit and use our website at www.denoize.com (the “Website”);
  • interact with us via forms, newsletters or other communications;
  • purchase or enquire about our products/services (if applicable).
    It also explains your rights under European data-protection law (specifically the General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR”) and how you can exercise them.

3. Data we collect

3.1 Browser-based analytics

We use the analytics service FouAnalytics. According to their published policy, FouAnalytics collects only anonymous, non-personal browser data, does not use cookies or other tracking identifiers, does not store IP addresses and does not track individuals across websites. (See https://fouanalytics.com/privacy)
Because of this minimal, anonymised data collection, no cookie-consent banner is required for this analytics tool.
We only process such anonymous statistics to monitor how the Website is used (e.g., number of sessions, screen size, browser version) and to improve our Website.

3.2 Personal data from you

We may collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us, for example:

  • by submitting a contact or enquiry form;
  • by ordering our products or services or requesting a quotation.
    The categories of personal data may include your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, and other information you choose to provide.

3.3 Third-party data

We do not currently integrate third-party tracking cookies or cross-site profiling services. If we do in future, we will update this policy accordingly.

4. How we use your personal data

We may use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry, fulfil a quotation or order, and communicate with you about our products/services;
  • To send you newsletters or marketing communications (if you have consented to receive them);
  • To improve our Website, products and services;
  • To comply with legal obligations (for example accounting, regulatory requirements).

We rely on the following lawful bases under the GDPR:

  • Your consent (where required) — e.g., for newsletters or direct marketing;
  • Our legitimate interests — e.g., to improve our Website or respond to your enquiry;
  • Performance of a contract — e.g., if you order our products or services;
  • Legal obligation — e.g., retention of records.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your personal data with:

  • Service providers who assist us in delivering our Website, products or communications (e.g., email-service providers).
  • Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law or to protect our rights.
    Every service provider we use is required to respect the confidentiality and security of your data and may only process it on our instructions.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations.
When it is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymise your personal data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights (in certain circumstances):

  • The right to access your personal data that we hold;
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • The right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • The right to restrict processing;
  • The right to data portability;
  • The right to object to processing (including direct marketing);
  • The right to withdraw your consent at any time (if processing is based on consent).

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@denoize.com.
If you believe we are not processing your data lawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Data-security and international transfers

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

If your personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses).

9. Cookies and similar technologies

As noted above, we use only anonymous analytics from FouAnalytics, which does not deploy cookies or persistent identifiers. We do not currently use cookies for profiling or advertising.
If we change this practise and start using cookies that require consent (e.g., tracking, marketing), we will update this policy and implement a cookie-banner or consent solution.

10. Third-party links

The Website may include links to external websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for example when our data-processing practices change). Any changes will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be amended. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
